The Vandemon Slip-On Titanium Mufflers come with everything needed to connect to your OEM headers. By replacing your heavy, restrictive OEM mufflers, the motorcycle’s weight is significantly reduced, and there is a noticeable decrease in radiated and stored heat due to the removal of the catalytic converter and the use of lightweight titanium, which does not retain heat and cools quickly.
The straight-through flow characteristic of both mufflers also enables an instant increase in torque and hp, with the best gains achieved by having the engine tuned to suit.
By utilising the latest manufacturing technics and exotic materials such as Titanium, we at Vandemon can significantly reduce the weight and radiated heat compared to thegreater mass of the OEM exhaust system, which utilises a catalytic converter that heats more than the exhaust gases that exit the engine. This is a significant reason why many Panigale owners complain of uncomfortable heat radiating upwards whilst stationary from the exhaust.
Weld quality is second to none with ultrasonically perfect welds, which Ducati owners would expect & appreciate for such an iconic brand of a motorcycle that only compliments this great marque.
Appearance:
The surface finish is a natural brushed finish, which changes to an iridescent blue and red when heated. Titanium has an advantage over stainless steel as it doesn’t stain, corrode, or require polishing due to its high acid and salt resistance. Additionally, it dissipates heat twice as fast as steel, providing further safeguards against extended heat soak into body panels when stationary.
Manufacture:
We at Vandemon use a unique welding process that completely penetrates and makes for an ultrasonically perfect connection with a beautiful and consistent overlapping fishbone appearance.
